On the evening of September 26, SWPU and Southwest Oil & Gas Field Company jointly held a concert to celebrate the 70^thanniversary of the People's Republic of China. Themed with "Sing for our country and chase dreams in the new era", the concert included 5 movements. Powerful melody of the songs resonating through the night sky, and magnificent pictures exhibiting on the screen, all the SWPU people with sheer endeavor celebrated the 70^thanniversary of our country with earnest songs.

Actress Yu Shanshan said, "Being able to participate in such an important event is meaningful and worth to be remembered for the whole life."
